Paris Olympics live updates: Team USA track stars Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Noah Lyles race for gold

Just four days of competitions remain at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics and there are some huge Team USA stars looking for medals on the track Thursday. First, in the women’s 400m hurdles, world- and Olympic-record holder Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone looks to defend her gold medal from the Tokyo Games. Also looking for more gold will be Noah Lyles, who collected the title of “world’s fastest man” in winning the 100m, and is looking for the double in winning the 200m. Usain Bolt accomplished that feat three times — at Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016.

Elsewhere in Paris, the U.S. men’s basketball team takes on Serbia and three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokić in a highly-anticipated semifinal matchup.
