Uncrowned has Denys Berinchyk vs. Keyshawn Davis live results, round-by-round updates, ring walks and start time for the Berinchyk vs. Davis fight card on Friday night at Madison Square Garden’s The Theatre in New York. WBO lightweight champion Berinchyk defends his belt against the fast-rising contender Davis in a battle of unbeatens.
Berinchyk (19-0, 9 KOs), a 2012 Olympic silver medallist, won the WBO championship this past May, upsetting the three-division champion Emanuel Navarrete by split decision in his U.S. debut. The Ukrainian previously captured the European title in December 2022 against Yvan Mendy on the Tyson Fury vs. Derek Chisora undercard.
Davis (12-0, 8 KOs), also a 2020 Olympic silver medalist, recorded a career-best performance in November when he halted Gustavo Lemos in just two rounds. To put the performance in context, Lemos had previously pushed Richardson Hitchins — now the IBF super lightweight champion — across 12 ultra competitive rounds, which ended with Hitchins edging a razor-thin decision win.
The rivalry between Berinchyk and Davis exploded this week when Davis claimed Berinchyk’s team sent a racist package to his hotel room containing bananas and watermelon.
Puerto Rican super welterweight Xander Zayas (20-0, 12 KOs) meets Germany’s Slawa Spomer (20-0, 11 KOs) in Friday’s co-feature. Zayas is the WBO’s No. 1-ranked contender at 154 pounds for unified champion Sebastian Fundora.
Elsewhere on the card, heavyweight contender Jarred Anderson (17-1, 15 KOs) returns for the first time since being knocked out by Martin Bakole in August. Anderson takes on Marios Kollias (12-3-1, 10 KOs).
Abdulah Mason (16-0, 14 KOs), who was Uncrowned’s runner up for 2024 Prospect of the Year, clashes with Manuel Jaimes (16-2-1, 11 KOs).
Berinchyk vs. Davis begins at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN+, with a main card beginning at 9 p.m. ET and main event ring walks expected at around 11 p.m. ET on ESPN.
