Exciting Players West Ham Are Linked With

West Ham are being linked with an abundance of players already for the summer and to be fair, there are some exciting names in the list.

I know I may have included a couple that we haven’t necessarily been linked with any time recently, but still.

Goalkeeper:

GK: WES FODERINGHAM – He’s a free agent and i would take him as third choice keeper if Joseph Anang leaves. Wes would add to the homegrown quota in the squad.

Defenders:

CB – FABRÍCIO BRUNO – He looks to be joining West Ham, 28 years old, and a big, strong unit.

CB – JACOB GREAVES – Had a good season with Hull FC. He wouldn’t be my first choice, but would help with the homegrown quota.

CB – LLOYD KELLY – He’s a Free agent, but looks Newcastle bound, which is a shame.

CB – MAX KILMAN – A Lopetegui favourite. I see this having legs, but he could cost too much.

CB – TOSIN ADARABIOYO – Is a Free agent, but looks Newcastle United or Chelsea bound, which is unfortunate.

LB – ARCHIE BROWN – He’s a quality youngster with tremendous potential.

LB – FERDI KADIOĞLU – Regrettably, he looks to be going to Arsenal.

LB – JUAN MIRANDA – A Free agent and definitely an improvement on our current crop of left backs.

LB – LEIF DAVIS – Not been linked with us for a while, and with Ipswich’s promotion, seems unlikely.

RB – KYLE WALKER-PETERS – He’s not been linked to West Ham for a while, and with Southampton’s promotion, is improbable.

Midfielders:

DM: WILFRED NDIDI – He’s a Free Agent and looks to be Lyon bound though, which is a shame. We haven’t been linked with Ndidi to my knowledge, but playing 4-2-3-1, Ndidi and Alvarez as the two holding midfielders would be solid.

CM: GABRIEL SARA – Not been linked with us to my knowledge, but I’d say he is arguably one of the better midfielders in the Championship and would be a spectacular signing.

CM: JORDAN JAMES – Not been linked to us to my knowledge, but I’d say he is arguably one of the better midfielders in the Championship and would be an excellent signing.

CM: CALLUM O’HARE – A quality youngster with bags of potential.

CM: JOBE BELLINGHAM – Is a quality young player with lots of potential.

CM: MORGAN GIBBS-WHITE – I don’t think we’ve been linked with him. He played for Lopetegui at Wolverhampton Wanderers and I don’t see it happening, but thought it was worth a mention as Nottingham Forest have to sell to prevent further FFP punishments.

Wingers:

W: CRYSENCIO SUMMERVILLE – As Leeds United didn’t get promoted, I think he’ll be available. Easily the Championship’s best player last season. I see him going for a big fee though.

W: GRADY DIANGANA – Not sure how I feel about this player. I was disappointed when he left, but he hasn’t exactly pulled up trees since leaving. Apart from boosting the homegrown quota, I’m not sure he’d would be worthwhile.

W: JACK CLARKE – He’s a quality youngster with plenty of potential.

W: JOTA SILVA – He would be my first choice at left wing if Crysencio proved too expensive.

W: WESLEY GASSOVA – Looks exciting, and would be all over a move to us for the right price.

Forwards:

F: GEORGINIO RUTTER – Leeds didn’t get promoted, so I think he could be available. Not the highest of goalscorers, but has stacks of potential and made a load of assists last season in the Championship. I see him going for a large fee though.

F: IVAN TONEY – He would be a quality signing, but I think he’ll be too expensive.

F: TAIWO AWONIYI – He’s the closest we’d ever come to an Michail Antonio replacement. And as Nottingham Forest need to sell players due to FFP, I wouldn’t be disappointed with him.

F: VICTOR BONIFACE – Let’s face it, it would be a pipedream. I would love to see it happen, but it won’t.

F: YOUSSEF EN-NESYRI – Another Lopetegui favourite and I can see this having legs, as he seems to have said his goodbyes at Sevilla.
