Nic Fink is going back to the Olympics.
The swimmer from Morristown qualified for the 2024 Paris Games on Sunday night by winning the 100-meter breaststroke at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Indianapolis.
The 30-year-old Fink, a Pingry School graduate who also competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, captured the win with a time of 59.08 seconds, holding off Charlie Swanson at 59.16.
A five-time world champion in breaststroke events, Fink earned a fifth-place finish in the 200-meter breaststroke in the Tokyo Games.
He will have the opportunity to qualify for that event as well at the U.S. Olympic trials.
