Aid campaign in Iraqi Kurdistan city suspended due to economic crisis

A financial aid campaign for the Kurdish-led Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, also known as Rojava, launched two weeks ago in Iraqi Kurdistan’s Sulaymaniyah, has been unexpectedly suspended. Aid boxes had been set up across the city, but the organizers have now decided to halt the campaign due to economic hardship among civilians in the region.
