Local officials say rescuers are searching for other victims who may still be trapped under the rubble.
At least four people have been killed after Russian forces attacked the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, according to regional governor Oleh Syniehubov.
The strike is reported to have been made using a KAB guided bomb, which destroyed two houses and damaged dozens more.
The attack came just hours after a Russian FAB-500 bomb hit the historically significant Derzhprom building, which has held enhanced UNESCO protection status since 2022.
At least nine people were injured in the strike, one of which was an on-duty policy officer, according to Ukraine’s National Police.
The attack also damaged a medical centre and several administrative buildings.
Meanwhile, Russia launched drones at the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv overnight, injuring three people, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Drone debris sparked a fire in an apartment building in Kyiv’s Solomyanskyi district, while nearby cars and a commercial building also caught fire.
The district’s gas supply was shut off after a gas line was damaged, and emergency gas services were dispatched to the attack site due to the risk of depressurisation of the gas system, according to Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
The fire at the site has reportedly been extinguished.
