Carmelo Anthony will be adding first-ballot Hall of Famer to his list of accolades. Anthony has reportedly been notified that he’s been elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Anthony, best known for his time with the Denver Nuggets and New York Knicks, built up a strong résumé during his 19-year career. The forward was a 10-time All-Star, and was the NBA’s scoring leader in 2013 while with the Knicks. Anthony also earned three Olympic gold medals and a bronze medal with the U.S. men’s basketball team.

In 2021, Anthony was named to the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team, honoring the 75 greatest players in the league’s history. The forward retired the following year, finishing his NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2022.
