Dahyun of Twice to make acting debut

Fancy seeing Dahyun on the big screen? The 25-year-old member of K-pop girl group Twice – and global ambassador for Michael Kors – will be making her acting debut in the upcoming sports film Sprint.

According to South Korean media outlets, Sprint “depicts the story of people who run tirelessly with impossible dreams in their hearts”.

Directed by Lee Seung-hoon, Sprint stars Ha Seok-jin as a sprinter who previously broke the Korean record for the 100-metre run in track and field and is now past his prime. Joining him is Crash Landing On You’s Lee Shin-young who plays a sprinter who previously wanted to be a soccer player.

Dahyun’s role in the movie, which is set to start filming in May, has yet to be revealed.
