Four people have been injured in a violent axe attack on a train station in France on Monday, according to local media reports citing police sources.

At around 8:00 am local time, a fight involving several individuals, including minors, broke out on the RER E line at Ozoir-la-Ferriere station, for an unknown reason. One victim suffered a skull injury, while another had their hand cut off with an axe and two others sustained minor injuries, the reports said.

The official X account for the RER E stated, “An incident on the TUVA train currently at the Ozoir station requires the train to remain at the platform. We are waiting for police intervention. We will keep you updated.” No further information was provided.
