Iran’s stock of near-weapon-grade uranium grows sharply

The United Nations’ nuclear watchdog says Iran has accelerated its production of near weapons-grade uranium. As tensions between Tehran and Washington rise, the Trump administration says Iran must be prevented from acquiring nuclear weapons. The U.S. Treasury Department on Wednesday issued fresh Iran-related sanctions on six entities located in Hong Kong or China.
