Israeli Defense Minister visits Washington

Yoav Gallant, the Israeli Defense Minister is in Washington for a series of meetings with U.S. officials as talks on a ceasefire in Gaza have stalled and as tension with Hezbollah is on the rise. Also in Israel, the families of some of the hostages held by Hamas have released video showing their loved ones being taken. A synagogue and multiple churches have been badly damaged in attacks in Dagestan, in southern Russia and the offices of a prominent Jewish member of Australia’s parliament has also been vandalized.
