90 Day Fiancé fan-favorite couple Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya will be back on the screen soon. In the meantime, Jovi answered fan questions on IG.
Jovi Dufren of 90 Day Fiancé made sure to fill fans in on his life after the new father and his wife Yara Zaya were absent from the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? premiere. The parents to baby Mylah have been named the most anticipated couple to appear in season 6 of the spin-off show, but fans will, unfortunately, have to wait until episode three to see the family. However, Jovi kept fans interested by responding to questions in his Instagram Story. The Louisiana native opened up about his wife Yara, being a father, and being adopted.
Yara and Jovi quickly rose to become a fan-favorite couple after appearing on season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé. The couple evolved from Yara being a demanding ice queen and Jovi being an indulgent party boy to becoming married and loving parents. Fans have celebrated the couple’s development and are looking forward to seeing them continue to grow as parents. The couple walked away from the season 8 Tell-All victorious after Jovi revealed fatherhood had signaled a change for him and Yara victoriously defended a woman’s right to plastic surgery. Their journey has ultimately made the couple very popular in a short period of time, which helped secure their spot on Happily Ever After.

After sitting out the premiere, Jovi took to his Instagram Story to reveal new info. He told fans that he knew Yara was the one “when she made my life a challenge.” He added that the couple had not initially clicked, as they “very much disliked each other” for the first two days they had met. “After a few more things got better,” he added. He also clarified that the couple had applied for their K-1 fiancé visa before applying to be on 90 Day Fiancé. When it comes to which half of the couple usually apologizes first, Jovi jokingly said “not me” before claiming that he has been apologizing a lot to his wife lately. When one fan asked Jovi why he had a different last name than his parents and brother Mason, he wrote back “because I’m adopted.“
Jovi also revealed that he hopes fans can see how much of a good dad he has become on the new season of Happily Ever After. He told fans that he and Yara planned to “absolutely” have baby Mylah be bilingual and a world traveler. “That little girl will see the world. No worries there. She will be a traveler for sure, ” he wrote. The new dad revealed that the couple is currently using Uber to get around the city, so they carry Mylah’s car seat with them when they go out. He added that the hardest thing about being a parent is definitely the sleep deprivation, though “Yara gets the worst of that.” However, the many perks of parenthood outweigh the struggles. “Seeing that princess happy and smiling every day is the most rewarding,” the proud father wrote. He added that he is still traveling for his underwater robotics job, though he is observing quarantine.
While viewers will have to wait until episode 3 of Happily Ever After to see Jovi and Yara, their arrival should be worth the wait. The new season will focus on the couple’s newfound role as parents and will feature both baby Mylah and Jovi’s fan-favorite mother Gwen. While many of the current season 6 couples appear to be in relationship turmoil, Yara and Jovi are doing better than ever. The couple has been brought together by being parents and even party boy Jovi matured and changed upon seeing his baby girl. Many fans are happy to see the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? couple progress in their relationship.
