Juventus star to prompt bidding war as he refuses new contract ahead of free transfer

Inter beat Juve in Coppa Italia thriller

In a game that literally went down to the last second, Inter Milan overcame Juventus to continue their dominance in Italy, and lift the Supercopa Italia in the process.

The Nerazzuri fell behind early thanks to Weston McKennie, only to equalise from the spot ten minutes before half time, with Lautaro Martinez cooly firing past Wojciech Szczesny. But, in what proved a relatively even affair, it took until the last seconds of extra-time to separate the sides.

With a penalty shoot-out looming, a loose ball fell to former Arsenal and Manchester United man Alexis Sanchez, who fired home from six yards out, winning the trophy for Inter Milan in the process.

And there could yet be worse repercussions for Juve.

Dybala set to spark bidding war

After the game, news broke that Paulo Dybala had decided not to renew his current contract at the club, which expires this June. He joins a hefty list of free agents this summer that currently looks set to include Paul Pogba, Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele and Antonio Rudiger.

Still just 28 years old, and renowned as one of the best players in the Serie A, it is certain that should the Argentine leave he will have a long list of suitors, with the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham previously showing interest, while Barcelona are keen to rebuild using free agents amid financial turmoil.

Would he suit a move to the Premier League?
