Jockey Jack Kennedy will make his return to horse racing at Leopardstown after recovering from a broken leg.
Irishman Kennedy, 25, broke his leg for the sixth time in his career in a beginners’ chase at Fairyhouse in November.
Kennedy was injured and his horse Twoohthree died after a heavy fall at the final fence of the race.
A statement from trainer Gordon Elliott said that Kennedy had been “given the green light” to return to racing after being passed fit by his surgeon, Paddy Kenny.
Kennedy will race at Leopardstown on Monday at the National Hunt Finale.
His return is a boost for Elliott ahead of the Cheltenham Festival from 11-14 March.
Kennedy has won 11 races at the Festival, including a Gold Cup win on Minella Indo in 2021.
