There appears to be a good romance between renowned Malaysian designer duo Rizman Ruzaini and singer-actress Lady Gaga, who was spotted in a custom made red gown during a recent Las Vegas show.
Known for their intricate craftsmanship and attention to detail, the duo comprising Rizman Nordin and Ruzaini Jamil had a sparkly creation for the singer, courtesy of Swarovski gems. The design duo is also revered in Malaysia in the couture and bridal space, reported Malay Mail on Monday (Jun 24).
In an interview with Malaysian entertainment outlet Gempak, Rizman said shared that the collaboration with Lady Gaga started after British supermodel Naomi Campbell wore one of their designs during their fashion show in Dubai last year.
That dress is now displayed at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London in an exhibition celebrating Campbell’s career, making Rizman Ruzaini the first Malaysian designer to have their creations showcased at the prestigious institution.
