The highly anticipated fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has hit a few snags as of late. The fight’s original date, July 20, was moved to November 15. But Jake Paul, ever the entertainer, has already found a new opponent for that original date.
Paul will take on mixed martial artist and Bare Knuckle Championship Fighter Michael Perry. Ironically, this isn’t Perry’s first involvement with a Paul brother. Perry was the backup fighter for the Logan Paul (now a WWE Superstar and United States Champion) vs. Dillon Danis fight on October 14, 2023. Obviously, Perry did not end up fighting in that match. That said, he has boxed before, but not since 2015.
Here’s everything to know about Jake Paul’s upcoming opponent.

Perry has participated in one boxing match in his career, a loss to Kenneth McNeil on March 28, 2015. Perry lost the fight via a fourth-round knockout.
Perry’s recent success with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship
Perry’s recent fights have come with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) ever since his contract with UFC expired on October 26, 2021. Perry has been on a tear in the BKFC as of late. Here is a quick rundown of each of Perry’s fights from the past two years:
