Years ago I was working on a boxing story and needed to speak to George Foreman. Wife was pregnant at the time and she went into labor, George calls and I say I can’t talk, wife in labor. He goes “sorry man, let’s talk soon, what’s your address.”

When taping #TheContender we got to BBQ w/ George Foreman. While riding in a limo with him I remember asking him: “Hey George, was the grill really your idea?” “ No,” he said. “Someone called and offered me money and a percentage if I put my name on it. So I said, ok.”
