The listing sees Moderato Wines available across Majestic’s 212 strong network of UK based stores and online from December 2024, in plenty of time for those taking part in Dry January this month too. The listing comes after Majestic introduces nine new products curated by Club Soda, significantly expanding its low and no-alcohol beverage proposition.
Moderato has been created with the expertise of traditional, unparalleled French wine making combined with leading technological advancements in 0.0 percent ABV wines. Created to be enjoyed with food and as one of Club Soda’s best-selling brands the listing is a resounding endorsement from the most respected voice in the category.
Majestic have reported sales of low and no-alcohol drinks skyrocketing by more than 600 percent since March 2022. Mintel, the market intelligence agency also predictedearlier this year that the drinks market would be worth £380 million by the end of 2024, doubling in size in the space of five years.
As demand for premium, non-alcoholic wines at dinner and in bars continues to rise, Moderato’s listing at Majestic makes it easier than ever before for restaurants, bars, retailers and the trade to purchase this distinctive wine range for their customers, through Majestic Commercial. For on-trades in particular, Moderato is now available through Majestic Commercial, making it an easy addition to regular wine orders.

Where alcohol-free wine brands are typically made from unfermented grape juice or only partially de-alcoholised wine, Moderato sets themselves apart with a complex process of de-alcoholisation of vinted wine whilst re-introducing either natural wine aromas or the re-introduction of aromas from the original wine only.
