Missed the Rangers v Dynamo Kiev match, 😢 what a really good result though. One that wasn’t expected across the board. Caught the chat half time, Heard Barron had a good game and we were unlucky. I caught the end commentary on the radio 810. They said Dessers was tremendous and when Jefte came in he also took his chance with some excellent crosses.
I haven’t seen the game so can’t comment myself. However, I will say one thing
a lot of us haven’t thought Dessers is the right guy to be number 1 striker but stats are he’s the 3rd best striker in a season in 20 years so I heard on the radio tonight which actually shocked me he was behind Morelos and Boyd.
Apparently on last seasons showing. We talk a lot about his misses but not his goals scored which is true. Jefte we thought was a project player but on tonight’s shown I’m hearing should be a first team starter?
Clement after the game in his interview said a lot of people have opinions on Dessers but if you look at his game 7 months ago until now you wil see he does a lot more things for the team which he has been putting effort into on the training ground. We as fans have slated him but he has taken it on the chin and backs himself and continues to do his best, which is more than some can say in the past
It’s very easy to get caught up in the moment, especially on an online platform such as this and we can tune into a lynch mob. It shows tonight too many on here including myself and even the media and pundits alike get too heavily involved in the doom and gloom yet tonight I’m hearing we put in a very good performance Along with some very good individual performances from players we thought not good enough.
Think I for one am going to shut up and just watch and hope for the best and hope we can get one 2 others in to help the squad and see how the season pans out and just get back to enjoying supporting the club and watching the football good or bad. We may not be pretty at times we may win and lose have our ups and downs. There could be worrying times along the way.
But think we need to Give PC time and have faith he knows more then we do and see what happens. It may be a long season but I hope for more highs than lows but will take whatever comes as we always do and have done.
Time for the stupid petty bitching to stop, it makes no difference to how the club performs on and off the pitch and at the start it’s very easy to get carried away and caught up in the heat of the moment when we’re in here and things aren’t looking rosy.
Once again tonight though, our Rangers team prove in Europe were a different animal. I believe now we will do it next week and I actually feel we could go one better and get to the groups this year.
Amazing what one little result can do and on that note, I’m staying away until we’re in that group stage and watch some fantastic European nights again 💙💙.
