Rangers may not have the ability and skill of Celtic, however they should never have won 3-0 because we should never be out run, out worked and easily beaten on energy!
Rangers’ defence had almost a right back and left back with no central defender, 😳 which is the complete opposite of the tactical system known as CATENACCIO with a LIBERO player!
95-98% of footballers cannot play Tika Taka football to the standard of Manchester City! This Goalie to left back to right back simply gives you palpitations for no benefit!
IMO, Philippe Clement (PC) is hopeless and clueless! His tactics are embarrassing and a total shambles! How anyone can think he is an intelligent manager is beyond belief! The same thing happened at Monaco FC with an average start and a totally horrendous end!
PC cannot continue as the Rangers manager! Souness and Walter knew how to treat a Celtic team! PC could play 100 games and never learn. We will struggle to beat them as he does not learn. I mean Brendan Rodgers is useless. He took Leicester City to relegation!
Apparently, PC did a fantastic presentation to Souness and the Board. However, Souness strongly recommended Frank Lampard as a better choice probably for the following reasons:
1. He is a very wealthy individual with fantastic contacts that might and would likely invest in Rangers shares
2. This would be Lampard’s last chance of success, a major factor
3. Lampard would attract mega commercial contacts, money and fame into the club
4. Lampard would attract players of a very high global calibre due to the respect and high esteem he is held in Globally!
5. Lampard could attract and secure many Chelsea players on loan at reduced costs due to his amazing Chelsea connections
Celtic are bang average (watch them in Europe) and yet we made them look like Brazil! We almost played with Souttar at right back and Jeff at left back with no centre back. It was the biggest shambles seen on a football park! It could have been 6-0 if they were half as good as they think they are!
Why didn’t PC play a sweeper? That was the number one problem. We know they’re a strong team for us so we need to play a professional [Italian?] style defence and if we did, we still might have been beat, but not destroyed.
Butland should have been dropped and sold! (Kelly could be better?). Tavernier is either past it or lazy and should never play again for Rangers FC. They should say he has a slight injury and punt him. Turning to Dessers – he is mince! Surely Shankland would be better. 😳
Souness, Roberts, Butcher, Ferguson and many more would have been right into them! We have no leaders! Nobody with guts! Remember Terry Hurlock? Also, we should also stop all the back passes and across pitch passes! 🙈
They say that not one Rangers player could get into the Celtic team! I don’t even think one would get on their bench either, never mind the team.
