And, after scooping the much-desired Glitterball trophy, Katya will attempt to stay in the top spot in the upcoming competition.
Last week, the Russian choreographer was revealed to be pairing up with comedian Seann Walsh for this year’s series.
Now, the dancer has opened up about how she feels about being partnered with the 32-year-old.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the star admitted: “I must say, I didn’t expect it!
“However, after two years on the show, I’m ready for anything!”
Katya went on to explain the stand-up favourite had already showed signs of putting his all into their training, in a bid to scoop a victory on the dance floor.
“From what I can see so far, Seann is going to work really hard – he’s cleared his schedule and every spare minute I saw him in the rehearsals for the group number he was going over the steps,” she revealed.
“But more than that he’s just so adorable.”
The dancer went on to discuss the huge task they had ahead of them, before explaining she thought he’d be a favourite amongst onlookers.
The Saint Petersburg-born star, who has also danced with retired politician Ed Balls on the show back in 2016, added: “It’s going to be challenging, and he’s never danced before, but I’m sure the audience is going to fall in love with him.
“He’s already calling me Boss!”
Earlier this week, the pair took to Instagram to give an update on how their rehearsals for their first dance together was going.
In one upload, taken on their first day of training as a dance duo, Seann gazed at the camera as he showed off the effects of their intense work out.
The comedian donned a white T-shirt in the snap, which was visibly sweaty due to their dance practice.
Writing in view of her 78,100 Instagram followers, Katya penned: “We’ve not even finished #DAYONE and @seannwalsh is on his third T-shirt!!!
“Sweaty a bit? Dancer in the making!!! Watch our people.”
The dancer went on to tease fans about their top secret routine, as she asked: “WHAT DANCE DO YOU THINK WE ARE DOING?
