The Perfume Shop has implemented the first phase of their Store+ app initiative. Store+ is an initiative designed to enhance the customer’s shopping experience and make it easier for them when it comes to making an informed perfume purchase.
Store+ has been launched in response to The Perfume Shop’s extensive customer and market research which identified that nearly three-quarters (72 percent) of customers often require further additional information and services when in-store, with 58 percent regularly searching for social content, tips and reviews when it comes to selecting a perfume.
The upgraded Store+ app service is a market-leading initiative that provides customers with an enhanced experience by bringing both the Offline + Online (O+O) experiences closer together than ever before. Phase one has officially launched and is currently live in 24 stores, with a planned roll-out of further phases taking place in 2025.
The first phase of the Store+ app provides customers with:
- The homepage offers all the most important and relevant information all on one page for an easier and smoother experience.
- Optimal self-service support of digital information and tools available.
- Physical experiences on the device for customers to interact with whilst in-store to boost store engagement and ultimate lead to purchase.
- QR codes – Customers can scan the QR code displayed in the store to open the app
- Smart Product Scan is available in the Home Page for easy access to all product information on the fragrances available. Containing sizes, prices, product description, key notes, fragrance family and more.
- Loyalty card for VIP customers is also available for easy access to view the loyalty programme benefits.
Not only with all of these amazing features, but the newly redesigned app for customers will allow them to view other key areas such as fragrance product information with clear overviews of ingredients and characteristics. Rating details where they are able to filter best reviews that come directly from social media. Brand video content related to testimonials and spot TV.
The Perfume Shop will also be introducing a modular approach to bring to life the O+O digital experience for customers through various ‘Phygital Experiences’. ‘Phygital’ Experiences will allow customers to interact with purpose-built physical and digital displays in store that make product discovery more fun, engaging, and memorable.
- Fragrance Finder: Re-designed to work both online and in-store and for use with both the mobile app and ‘Phygital’ Experiences where customers can interact with digital and physical displays in store.
- Scent Profile: Your Fragrance Finder results from your ‘Scent Profile’ can be saved to your online account and accessed at any time to view information about your scent profile and recommendations that are kept updated with new launches.
- Store Information: Including store opening times and service availability in-store (e.g. Engraving, Gift-Wrap, Personalised Ribbon etc).
