The former president’s appearances at the Fiserv Forum arena will mark his first public appearance since he was rushed off the stage in Butler, Pa., after what authorities described as an attempt on his life.
Given the attack on Trump over the weekend, security at the RNC is facing scrutiny. The director of the Secret Service said on Monday that security plans have been “reviewed and strengthened in the wake of Saturday’s shooting.”
