The country erupted on Wednesday when England beat Denmark 2-1 in the semi-finals of Euro 2020. For the first time in decades, England will play in the final of a major football tournament this weekend and fans will descend on their local pubs and open-air venues to watch the action live. In England, there are several venues in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool which will be showing the Euro final and serving pints for the fixture.
Anyone planning on watching the Euro final at a venue should be aware pre-booking is essential in most cases.
There is huge demand to watch the Euro final on a big screen, so be aware many places will already be full for bookings.
Some venues are offering places based on a ballot, while some may have room for walk-ins on the big night.
Just make sure to check how the venue is operating for finals night before setting out.
There will be no city centre area for football fans on Sunday, Birmingham City Council has warned.
A spokesperson told Birmingham Live: “While we wish England every success in the final of Euro 2020, coronavirus has not gone away and restrictions are still in place – so it’s imperative people watch these matches in a Covid-safe way.
