Women's soccer Olympics schedule: Paris Olympics group play, knockout stage matches

The U.S. women’s soccer team (USWNT) is gunning for its first gold medal since 2012 this summer at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. This is the squad’s first major tournament under new coach Emma Hayes who took over after the team failed to medal in the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time.

Hayes takes over for Vlatko Andonovski and is an accomplished coach. She spent the last 12 years with Chelsea and won the last five Super League titles. She earned FIFA coach of the year honors in 2021.

The women’s soccer team took bronze in the last Olympics in Tokyo. This time around, Team USA’s roster will notably be without Alex Morgan but still features plenty of Olympic experience in goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher, midfielder Lindsey Horan, and forward Crystal Dunn. All three are making their third Olympic appearance.

Women’s soccer at the Paris Olympics includes 12 teams split into three groups. The USWNT is in Group B with Australia, Germany, and Zambia. The top two teams in the group will advance to the knockout stage with the third potentially making it on ranking.
